Entry into the Global CDMO Market and Securing Technological Competitiveness Chong Kun Dang's Baegot production base is not solely for the production of its own new drugs. It will also pursue Contract Development and Manufacturing Organization (CDMO) services for global bio-companies. Given the highly complex and technologically demanding manufacturing processes for CGT and ADC, the CDMO market itself is experiencing rapid growth. The global CGT CDMO market is projected to grow by over 20% annually until 2030, reaching approximately 30 trillion Korean Won. Chong Kun Dang, alongside companies like Samsung Biologics and CHA Biotech, is expected to play a pivotal role in establishing Korea as Asia's bio-manufacturing hub. Furthermore, this investment will enable the company to secure advanced technologies, including GMP facilities, viral vector production, and automated cell culture. Pipeline Expansion and Commercialization Strategy Chong Kun Dang has already secured several CGT and ADC candidates in its pipeline. The company is developing various platforms, including CAR-T therapies, gene-editing therapies, and viral vector-based gene therapies, and in the ADC field, it possesses proprietary linker technology and payload optimization technology. Clinical data is expected to emerge in earnest from 2026, with the goal of launching the first commercial products between 2028 and 2030. The company plans to expand indications to include hematologic cancers, solid tumors, and rare genetic diseases, and will actively pursue technology transfer and collaborative development partnerships with global pharmaceutical companies.
