Through this agreement, the two organizations will promote exchange and cooperation for: △establishing and utilizing a mutual linkage system for discovering and supporting promising bio startups △providing technical consulting and R&D support for technology development and innovation △proposing joint projects for new project discovery and market entry. Professor Kim Seong-min, Director of Suwon University Business Incubation Center, stated, "Through this agreement with HADD Science, which possesses super-gap technology in the bio-health deep-tech sector, we have strengthened our capacity to resolve bio-technology challenges for companies residing in the Suwon University Business Incubation Center and those within Hwaseong City. Furthermore, Suwon University (President Lim Kyung-sook), as a top-tier university for startup innovation with the best human and material resources for startup support in Korea, will continue to discover and foster promising companies, fulfilling its social responsibility as a university." He added, "Specifically, we will promote the joint use of equipment facilities among the benefits of the incubation center and provide training and mentoring on research and development project proposal writing to help bio companies, which require significant initial capital, secure R&D funds through central government and Hwaseong Special City (Mayor Jeong Myeong-geun) R&D support programs." HADD Science recently launched 'ADDGEL,' an innovative 3D cell culture platform, demonstrating the competitiveness of domestic products in a bio research market heavily reliant on imports. In a situation where existing biomaterials and culture platforms depend on foreign products, HADD Science is leading advanced technology development to help Korea leap forward as a global leader in the bio industry. Heo Chae-jeong, CEO of HADD Science, emphasized, "We will establish ourselves as an innovative company that will change the paradigm of Korea's bio industry. Through ADDGEL, we will support researchers in easily performing tissue and organoid culture, and innovate the foundation of new drug development."
