A total of six biotech startups advanced to this year's finals, and HADD Science received high praise from the judges for showcasing its technology for developing a stem cell-based wound healing therapy that promotes nerve regeneration. This technology is an innovative therapeutic agent applicable to patients with severe wounds or nerve damage, and it was recognized for its high potential to overcome the regenerative limitations of existing treatments. The therapeutic agent under development by HADD Science is a technology that combines stem cell differentiation control with regenerative biomaterials, characterized by its ability to induce rapid tissue regeneration and nerve function recovery in damaged areas. The company has secured positive results in animal experiments and is currently pursuing future clinical research and technology transfer. Various innovative technology startups participated in this competition, including Sleepy (digital sleep/anesthetic), MPIOs (inorganic nanosphere drug delivery platform), NeuroVivi (oral Alzheimer's treatment), Aslon (early diagnosis of myocardial infarction), and Current B&C (cosmetics utilizing pre-cancerous substances). Through this award, HADD Science will receive additional points for admission to the second phase of the Gwanggyo Biohub Lab Station and plans to accelerate follow-up research through support for research equipment and infrastructure. A company official stated, “Stem cell-based therapeutics are technologies that will bring significant change to the intractable wound treatment market,” adding, “We will collaborate with domestic and international research institutions to accelerate clinical application.” This award is considered an official validation of HADD Science's accumulated research in stem cell-applied biomaterials and its technological prowess in the field of regenerative medicine over the past several years.
