The Suwon University Startup Incubation Center successfully concluded the WOW-BI IR Demoday, an event designed to support startups in attracting investment and fostering growth. This demoday aimed to strengthen startups' fundraising capabilities to help them advance to the scale-up stage. Programs included IR pitching, VC matching consultations, and talk concerts. Participating companies included Gogo F&D (data-based two-wheeled vehicle rental), Korea Institute of Structural Measurement (railway/road tunnel lining scanning), Baselab (real-time fishing net monitoring), ISOL (optimizing unmanned towing sensor surveying management), 5em Planning Research Institute (event exhibit rental), and HADD Science (nerve-guided wound healing agent). The judging panel, which added professional expertise, included Director Yoo Sung-ho of The Innovators, CEO Koo Tae-hoon of Bigbang Ventures, CEO Kim Byung-hee of Commax Venturus, and Team Leader Kwon Yong-seok of Timeworks Investment. Kim Sung-min, Director of the Startup Incubation Center, stated, “Securing growth capital is crucial for startups to leap forward. We are committed to providing customized startup incubation that goes beyond simple events, focusing on strengthening actual investment acquisition capabilities and matching startups with investors.”
